Iran shopkeeper surprises orphans

Iranian shop owner gives away free clothes to the country’s orphans if the kids can produce their IDs showing they lost their parents.

The kind and generous man hailing from Iranian holy city of Mashhad put up a banner in front of his shop which partly reads, “ In this store, orphans can get free clothes by showing proofs that their parents passed away.”

The amazing act by the shopkeeper made a huge commotion in the social media with the photo showing the shop banner shared many times.

In the Iranian culture, Nowruz or the Persian New Year marks not only the beginning of a new solar year, but a new start for generosity and positive change. Such fine cultural point was best rendered by the shopkeeper.

This year, Nowruz celebration starts on March 20, 2017.
